Services / Enterprise Web Development
Web builds for organisations with several stakeholders, brands or systems: governance and approval workflows, CRM and ERP integrations, accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, and a release process IT and legal can sign off.

What we can help with
Enterprise projects are scoped in phases, with a named owner for each workstream. Typical inclusions are below.
Enterprise Web Development in practice
Large websites usually fail through process rather than code. Five teams want the home page, nobody owns the old PDFs, and legal approval is a two-week email chain. We start by mapping who creates, approves and publishes each content type, which systems hold the source data, and what security and privacy reviews the build must pass. That produces a governance model the CMS is then configured to enforce, with roles, approval steps and an audit trail.
Where content must feed several brands or channels, a headless CMS can be part of the architecture. Large sites also need enterprise SEO planning so templates, internal links and migrations scale properly.
Planning and implementation
The Disability Discrimination Act applies to websites, and WCAG 2.2 level AA is the benchmark most Australian procurement teams and government bodies reference. Components are built to that standard and tested with keyboard, screen reader and automated checks, rather than relying on an overlay widget. Integrations get the same treatment: each has a data owner, an error-handling plan and a test case, so a CRM outage doesn’t silently swallow enquiries.
Custom integrations and internal tools are handled under software development. Lead capture can route to your existing CRM, or to Simple CRM where a lighter system fits a division or brand.
How we work
01
Workshops and interviews produce one requirements register with priorities, owners and compliance needs.
02
The design system and integrations are built and tested in staging, with release notes for each change.
03
Launch follows a signed-off checklist, with runbooks, training and a rollback plan documented for your team.
Measurement and review
Beyond leads and sales, track operational measures: time from content request to publish, accessibility issues opened and closed, integration error rates, and uptime against the hosting agreement. These show whether the platform is serving the organisation.
Baselines are set during discovery so each phase can be compared with what came before. Reporting goes to the whole stakeholder group, not just marketing.
Good questions
A few useful answers before we talk.
Requirements are collected from each group separately, then brought into one register where every item has an owner, a priority and a reason. Conflicts get resolved at a named decision point rather than in the build. A single product owner on your side signs off each phase. That stops the website becoming a negotiation between departments every time a template is reviewed.
WCAG 2.2 level AA unless your organisation requires something different. That covers colour contrast, keyboard access, focus states, form labels, alt text, captions and more. Testing combines automated tools, manual keyboard checks and screen readers, and you receive an issue log. Accessibility also depends on content, so editors get guidance on headings, link text and documents. Overlay widgets are not a substitute for accessible code.
Usually, if the system has a documented API or supported connector. Data ownership, field mapping, authentication method and error handling are confirmed before building, and each integration is tested in staging with realistic data. If a vendor's API is limited, we'll say so early and suggest alternatives such as a scheduled sync or middleware, rather than discovering the limit after launch.
In phases. Discovery is priced first and produces a requirements register and an estimate for the build. Build and integration phases are then priced against that register, with change requests handled in writing. Costs vary with the number of templates, integrations, brands and compliance reviews. The budget guide gives context on how web investment relates to the marketing that depends on it.
As a first look, yes. The audit reviews a sample of your key templates for speed, indexing, structure, accessibility red flags and the enquiry path, and returns a prioritised checklist. It won't replace a full discovery phase or a formal accessibility audit, but it shows where the biggest gaps are and helps frame a business case. Request the free audit for your site.

A useful starting point
For larger sites, the audit samples key templates to show where speed, accessibility and structure need attention first.
